THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA NIGHT!!!!

A few months ago we got tickets to the Phantom in
Spokane. Bryan surprised me and told me he bought them because he knew I loved
the movie so much. We invited 2 of our friends from work, Ryan and Aubree.
We went to Luna's. This is our new favorite spot to eat. I had the koho Salmon, Bryan had prime rib and Aubree and Ryan had quail and duck. My favorite was the french fries and butternut squash soup with crab. Yummy!

We loved dinner so much. We barely got to the show on time, only a few minutes to spare. Good driving Bryan and Ryan!!! Some of those red lights don't count anyways, right?

Bryan took a trip to Green River, Utah last weekend to celebrate his dad's 70th birthday. He took Kaden, Noah, Emily and Corina. We still don't have a car to fit everyone yet. The kids got to meet Bryan's brothers and sister.
Noah by the Geyser before it went off.

Carolyn, Arden, Eric, Kaden, Corina, Emily and Noah before church. Noah got a special tie he is wearing from Arden. He even wore it all the way home from Utah. His has a bird on it. Kaden got one too. This is when they went to Goblin Valley. Noah and Ray sitting on the "motorcycle seat".
Lots of Sandstone in Utah.
Noah
Emily told me, "Oh yeah, I almost fell off a 40 ft rock today", when I talked to her on the phone that night. She wasn't kidding, these rocks are BIG!

Hi beautiful!

Today I broke down and had a "pop", this meaning Pepsi. I weaned myself and then a day goes by, and then days, and even weeks, but today I just needed one because Bryan has been gone to Utah for 4 days now! I didn't realize how much I needed him and how much my 2 littlest ones can suck out so much of my energy. So we went to Mcdonald's because my kids have informed me they will not go to Griffin's one more time. Well, I forgot to get them drinks so that left me with only one option... they got a drink of my pop. This is a rare occasion because they don't get soda normally. So, Juli takes her sip and then Casey gets his. Then, Juli wants another sip until they are rotating back and forth until gues what? No more pop. There is just enough for one more sip and I am very thirsty (and irritated) so even one sip sounds good to me. This is when Juli informs me that Casey has "mouthwashed" in the pop. I decided she has used this term way too often in the wrong sense so I correct her and say, "Juli it really isn't mouthwashed, ya know". She then says, "I know it's bathwashed. Mouthwash....bathwash, same difference". I then decided she might be right. It's all the same, isn't it?

Corina Camille Lybbert. Her favorite color is blue and green. Favorite drink is V-8. Favorite sport is gymnastics. Favorite animal is a cat. Favorite TV show is Spongebob. Favorite past time is computer games.

She loves the movie Brother Bear and her favorite part of the movie is when Kenign turns into the bear and you can see all the spirits up in the sky.

Corina is quiet but can be sneaky. She is sweet and gentle. She really wishes we had a cat. Our cat Sparkles ran away and she misses her very much. She was a good cat and Corina loved her.

CB UNITED BLUE TEAM

We went fishing out at the sand dunes on Wednesday night. Bryan, Kaden, Noah, and me all took our poles (I used Maddie's Barbie pole). We drove on one of the off rodes which was very bumpy to a secluded spot where there were willows, water, blue Heron and lots of peace and quiet.

Bryan with his Bass.

I threw my bait in and that very second caught my first fish ever. The fish was squirming and jumping all around and I didn't know what to do with it. Bryan came and helped me take it off the hook and showed me all the parts of the fish. Obviously, I am not used to being around wiggly fish. Then we threw the nice little fish back in. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Especially since Bryan said he would go somewhere that I like to do if I would do something he wanted to do. Hmmm, how about a pedicure Bryan?

Julianne goes to Kindergarten!!!!
I took Juli to class today and and took lots of pictures. I took pictures in the class and then Mrs. Skaug said, "this is when the parents say goodbye to the students...." Gosh, even though she is my fifth child going to school it is hard to say goodbye.

Juli on the playground.

Ok, mom. You can say goodbye now.
I love you Juli.

Johanna and her friend Sara. Sara came home from Poland this summer to visit. Johanna met Sara in Elementary school and they became good friends. Sara's parents are Polish and want her to be able to learn about her culture and others as well. She will finish secondary school in Poland and then come back here for High School. She cane speak 5 dfferent languages and does tons of extra curricular things. We will probably be sending Johnanna to visit her in Poland in a few years in the summer when she goes back home.
